The Accelight’s 50G BiDi transceiver module is designed for 50 Gigabit Ethernet, operating up to 53.125Gbps with 40 Kilometers link length on single mode fiber via a BIDI LC connector. The transceiver is also compatible with two rates: 10.3125Gbps / 25.78125Gbps. The transceiver has an SFP+ 20-pin connector compliant to SFF-8402 specification and supports hot plug and digital diagnostic function via an I2C. The transmitter of the module integrates a DML chip and a Class 1 DFB laser is compliant to international Safety Standard IEC 60825.
